Job Summary:

As a key member of the in-house marketing team for a growing fitness equipment manufacturer, the event and trade show marketing specialist will grow their skills in planning both trade show and non-trade show-related events, primarily in the B2B fitness sector. Looking for someone that is passionate about creating dynamic, customer-centric events and trade shows while maintaining the TRUE brand identity.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead all aspects of events and trade shows attended or lead by TRUE on large and small-scale including, but not limited to: event and trade show pre/post marketing, planning, management, registration, design, logistic activities, execution and analyzing
  • Set, communicate and maintain project timelines and priorities with both internal and external partners
  • Establish events and trade show budget and ongoing expenses tracking
  • Plan and execute all aspects of all non-trade show events including in-house events, trainings, rallies, corporate functions, customer events, etc.
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members for event/show promotion on both traditional and digital platforms
  • Deliver events and trade shows on time and within budget
  • Travel to and manage execution of key events and trade shows including show set-up and take-down as needed
  • Manage inventory of all giveaway items, sending out to events or as needed by sales team
  • Support sales to process and disseminate show leads
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing for proper follow-up/post-show marketing efforts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality or related degree
  • Minimum of 3+ Years Previous Event Planning/Tradeshow and Marketing Experience
  • Detail and Process-Oriented
  • Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal
  • Efficient with Microsoft Suite
  • Strong Intellect, able to operate with limited supervision

Not required, but is a plus:

  • Experience working in B2B and/or fitness industry
  • Past work in interactive or experiential events
  • Knowledge of email marketing programs (MailChimp, Constant Contact, SurveyMonkey)
  • Experience using project management software (Basecamp, Trello, Asana, etc.)
  • Enthusiasm for or knowledge of fitness and wellness

Specific role title dependent on experience and qualifications. Open to candidates located outside of St. Louis area, but will require travel to St. Louis corporate office on regular basis.
