Technology Project Manager

Job Summary:  The Technology Project Manager will plan, coordinate, execute and validate the company's technology development projects including both internal (product development) resources and external (vendors) resources.

Essential Functions:

• Work with engineering staff to plan development project schedules and timelines.
• Ensure milestones, epics, stories and tasks as necessary are captured and maintained in the appropriate management tool (Jira).
• Coordinate, monitor and track elements of projects that are subcontracted to vendors.
• Develop tracking and analysis metrics of projects (both internal and subcontracted); develop and regularly provide scorecard reporting to vendors as well as senior management.
• Coordinate with engineering management, product management and testing teams to ensure that products are ready for release. Actively engage in holistic product testing to achieve quality objectives.
• Work to resolve issues (project roadblocks, conflicts, communication breakdowns, etc.) to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
• Facilitate project management activities within an agile environment.

Qualifications:

• Excellent organization, written and verbal communication skills
• Experience leading projects in an agile environment
• Experience working with off-site subcontractors and vendors
• Self-motivated, collaborative, open-minded and eager learner
• High level of interpersonal communication skills required
• Skill in the use of office communication and documentation software (MSOffice or equivalent)
• Fitness industry experience strongly preferred
• Commitment to quality of work and follow-through to completion
• Knowledge of software development tools and environments a plus.

Education:

4 year technical degree or relevant professional experience

Working conditions (info on conditions out of the ordinary such as extensive travel, high noise level, frequent lifting, etc...) :

• Office environment
• Some travel
