Service Coordinator
Summary:
Coordinates, monitors, and improves field service activities for the organization. Provides supports and guidance to service personnel who perform on-site routine services including installation, maintenance, and repair. Ensures field services are effective and customers' requirements are met.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Works independently within established procedures
- Performs a variety of customer service/dispatching and administrative duties required to receive, screen, record, prioritize, assign and close customer requests for technical service support.
- Written skills and dictation are required.
- Ability to comprehend and compose instructions, in short correspondence.
- Prepares and delivers estimates to customers for field service.
- Regular contact of customer/sales to communicate status changes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3-5 years of related experience in customer service/dispatching
- Proficient with computers, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Scheduling general service calls, preparing and invoicing service calls
- Must have exceptional organizational skills, willing to learn, deadline-oriented
- Customer service background would be extremely helpful previous related experience a definite plus
Education:
- High School degree required
- Associate's degree or equivalent preferred
Working conditions:
- Extensive computer and desk work
- Some work from home or nights or weekends may be required
