Project Designer

SUMMARY: 

Responsible to develop documents, drawings, and diagrams to meet the requirements and goals of the client. Assist with Marketing and Sales with other day to day tasks.

Essential Functions:

• Collaborates with and communicates with TRUE sales team or client to understand the client or organization's goals and needs for a fitness equipment layout and develops effective 2D and/or 3D layouts utilizing EC Design to meet those needs.
• Edits and manipulates designs according to client or sales representative specifications.
• Utilizes design and layout skills in programs and technologies, such as EC Design, Icovia, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and maintains up-to-date knowledge of trends, techniques, and best practices for design.
• Assist team members with day to day marketing tasks and coordinating marketing projects and activities as requested. May include, but not limited to: tracking sales data; maintaining promotional materials inventory and fulfilling requests; planning of meetings; maintaining databases; conducting research; preparing reports; producing promotional materials
• May assist TRUE sales team with RFPs and customer presentations

Assist Inside Sales team with day to day tasks as requested. May include, but not limited to: Follow up calls to customers; coordination of equipment installations; warranty registrations

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe PDF, and EC Design
• Read room dimensions through CAD and other format drawings
• Must have understanding of basic installation drawings and what needs to be part of installation package
• Growing knowledge of and proficiency with systems equipment/product specification
• Must possess a strong customer service focus and commitment  
• Must be organized and detail oriented  
• Must be able to work independently or as a team player  

Education:

Bachelor's degree. Industrial design, graphic or advertising design.
