Logistics Supervisor

We're seeking a Logistics Supervisor who can plan and execute efficient, customer-focused shipping operations using industry best practices. You'll be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely movement of finished goods, coordinating with internal and external partners, and implementing strategies to improve freight performance, cost control, and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and manage daily outbound shipments to meet accuracy, delivery, and service goals
• Coordinate LTL, FTL, and 3PL shipments in alignment with customer schedules and budget targets
• Maintain proactive communication with production, warehouse, and customer service teams
• Plan and prioritize shipping operations based on order volume, carrier availability, and deadlines
• Ensure shipping documentation, labeling, and compliance standards are met for all domestic and international shipments
• Monitor freight carrier performance and resolve shipping delays or exceptions promptly
• Drive process improvements in shipping accuracy, load planning, and transportation efficiency
• Apply best practices in cubing, load optimization, and freight consolidation
• Maintain an organized, clean, and compliant shipping area that meets safety and quality standards

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations
• In-depth knowledge of LTL, FTL, and 3PL freight management
• Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and execute in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement
• Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental coordination
• Proficiency in ERP systems, shipping software, and transportation management tools
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with international shipping and customs documentation
• Familiarity with cubing or pallet/load optimization software
• Exposure to lean logistics, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives
