Design Coordinator

Job Summary

         Product Development department efforts

o   Assist with the creation, implementation, and managing of ECN/ECR process

o   Assist with the creation, implementation, and managing of PDM

o   Generate 2D drawings, 3D models, Bills of Material, etc.

o   Ensure product drawings and documentation are kept up to date

         Marketing department efforts

o   Assist with the creation models and images to be used in owner's and service manuals

         Service department efforts

o   Ability to manipulate vendor drawings to create parts list, subassemblies, and online drawings to be incorporated into website.

         Purchasing department efforts

o   Assist with SKU and BOM management in ForthShift

Qualifications:

         Technical skills:

o   Experienced with SolidWorks, or other related CAD program, for solid model design and drawing creation of consumer products.

         Good communication skills - Email, Excel, Word

Experience in product design (machine design, linkage design, and power transmission preferred)

Education:

5+ years of CAD experience  

Working conditions (info on conditions out of the ordinary such as extensive travel, high noise level, frequent lifting, etc...):

         Office environment

Warehouse/fabrication environment
