Customer Service Manager/Inside Sales

Role Summary: 

The Customer Service Manager is responsible for managing the Customer Service/Inside Sales department ensuring all customer accounts are handled in an effective and efficient manner, while supporting our Territory Sales Managers.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  •          Ensure high level of level of customer service within the quoting, estimating, and order process.
  •          Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written to a range of customers.
  •          Efficiently processing the needs of our distribution network on daily basis.
  •          Providing support to team of Territory Sales Managers and their customers through open communication, consistent follow through, and timely reporting.
  •          Monitor current inside sales process and procedures are followed and implement new processes to improve customer effectiveness.
  •          Outline, present, and sell the value of our products and services that can benefit our existing customers.
  •          Create new business leads and opportunities for TRUE to expand into additional markets or market segments.
  •          Partner with peers and management to enhance selling techniques and approaches.
  •          Effectively coordinate relationships and interface with territory sales managers, technical service, finance, and logistics.
  •          Through communication from our customers, identify and present product modifications or enhancements to be incorporated into future products to our Product Mangers.
  •          Evaluate performance of all inside sales coordinators, provide training, and handle all personnel issues involving the department.
  •          Handle multiple tasks and the ability to work with different software programs to create 3D layouts, freight analysis, lead tracking, order processes, and inventory management.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  •          Bachelor of Science degree with emphasis in Business preferred, but not required.
  •          3 years of prior experience in a customer service or inside sales environment.
  •          2 years prior supervisor or management experience.
  •          Ability to communicate with multiple groups and customers.
  •          Attention to detail to willingness to provide timely information.
  •          Some travel is expected.
