Buyer/Materials Planner

Job Summary: Forecast, allocate, audit, research, and manage activities relating to inventory, production schedules & purchasing.

Essential Functions:

• Develop new supply chains
• Monitor inventory levels
• Coordinate delivery of vendor shipments to end customers
• Disseminate pertinent information in a fast & efficient manner
• Work closely with Materials Manager to support production/purchasing demands
• Independently forecast end items

Qualifications:

• Purchasing experience
• Team oriented individual with proven leadership abilities
• Ability to multi-task
• Knowledge of purchasing systems
• Experience in shipping/receiving/exporting & importing
• Analytical
• Excellent communication skills
• Willing to do whatever it takes to get a job done
• Fitness equipment background a plus

Education:

• BS in business or minimum of 2 years of experience of similar type manufacturing/purchasing position
