Building Maintenance Laborer

Job Summary
-Keeps premises of facility in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.
-Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, trim, and metalwork.
-Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas
-Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor
-Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
-Dusts furniture and equipment
-Washes walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
-Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays
-Transports trash and waste to disposal area
-Replenishes bathroom supplies
-Repair and replace general hardware
-Carpentry & general construction such as woodwork, sanding, painting, etc.
-General Plumbing such as fixing toilets, faucets, leaks, etc.
-Completes daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures. 
-Performs repair on equipment and on the building
-Installs and puts together equipment for the building
-Delivers messages
-Transports small equipment or tools between departments
-Sets up tables and chairs needed
-Other duties as assigned

 Qualifications:

-Previous experience in this type of role.

Education:

-High School Diploma or equivalent required

Working conditions):
-Office environment
-Warehouse/fabrication environment
