Job Summary:

True Fitness is looking for a Digital & Social Media Marketing Coordinator that will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring TRUE's Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness. This position will work closely with the team to produce inventive, thoughtful, on-brand and on-message content for across an array of media focusing primarily on digital and social media content. Other duties include, but are not limited to: company newsletters, blog articles, press releases and trade publication submissions.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop, implement and manage social media strategy
  • Create and manage social media content and web site blogs
  • Work with team and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • Manage paid social posts and campaigns
  • Measure the success and provide analytics of social media and campaigns
  • Understanding of the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Analyze social media results to find ways to increase engagement and accelerate follower growth
  • Use social media marketing tools such as Hootsuite or Later
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
  • Manage trade publication submissions
  • Manage and create company newsletters
  • Other marketing projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years of experience as a Digital & Social Media Coordinator or similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media best practices. B2B social media experience a plus.
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Experience with audience and buyer persona research.
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing.
  • Able to problem solve, prioritize tasks, multitask, and manage time effectively.
  • Highly self-motivated and willing to work closely within a team structure.
  • Creative, but detail-oriented with an analytical approach to achieving objectives.
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and presentation.
  • Light travel may be required.
  • Interest and knowledge of fitness and fitness trends a plus.

Education:

BA in Marketing or similar relevant field
